Yup, game was definitely fixed and glad JVG called him out, it was Jones who made the 3 second violations, the delay of game calls and the technical.
Terrible delay of game tech, terrible no call on very obvious hold on Lin, terrible no call on lebron shove of lin, then a phantom tech on bev yeeesh
David Jones, referee #36 from Gainesville, Florida. He single-handedly took over the game. This should be reviewed by the NBA.
That didnt give them the lead? That has nothing to do how terrible the refs called the last 4 minutes of this freakin game.
That was pretty atrocious. The officiating has been horrible the last half dozen games. I just don't know what to say. Make me think of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_NBA_betting_scandal
Seems like Bev is starting to get a reputation as a dirty player (unwarranted). He needs to be careful or the refs will start treating him like Cousins.
The refs took away the Rockets rhythm with the techs and LBJ was holding Lin on Allen's layup. There were other bad calls throughout the game too.
This.... Being called a dirty player is one thing... Being treated like one by the refs is what's gonna hurt your team
Refs just took over the game plain and simple. I'm not only saying they had bad calls, but they clearly TOOK over the game.
JVG wanted to keep going on the absolutely garbage and terrible calls by David Jones...but decided to stop... This was an atrociously officiated game. Kevin Mchale isn't one for excuses, but my God: That stare said it all. The Rockets had momentum and then totally collapsed, after a terrible outbound play, considering Ray Allen is their best shooter, Harden got lost on him... Secondly, Lin was totally burnt once again by the fly by contest. The NBA is gonna guarantee that the Heat get their third...its a guarantee...im sorry but there is really no reason to play the playoffs anymore. Good teams have closed the gap, but the NBA doesn't want to end this love affair with the Heat.
Games like today are what makes the NBA lose its credibility. It just seems so obvious at times that the refs are throwing the game with absolutely awful, momentum shifting calls. Rox didn't help themselves by not executing down the stretch but it appeared that delay of game call and free tech really went a long way in shifting this game.
