Well Nirvana is probably the defining band from Grunge and they're pretty widely respected in the music community.
All I know about Hole is that hole Courtney Love sank her hooks into Kurt Cobain in Seattle and ended up living in Seattle. Courtney Love doesn't deserve to be on any good list of anything anyway. At least she managed not to give her kid birth defects although she did heroin while pregnant. "Hole" is so right.
