Reasons Why the Astros Win in StL
    • Had they won in Houston, there wouldn't have been that one more chance for the city of StL and for the Cards franchise to *rake serious jack* in "Busch Stadium" merchandise. It's only a courtesy to a great city and a great franchise that we put it off a couple of days and beat the hell out of them in their own crib.
    • The Phillies, Mets, Br*ves and Dodgers have all celebrated in *our* crib. Time to rain on someone else's parade.
    • In Astros/Cardinals NLCS matchups, if Game 5 is won by a decisive 3-run bomb, the team responsible loses the series. There is precedent for this. It is inevitable. :D

I don't know why we do this to ourselves - why we start thinking that this year would be any different than any other year.

Because of the RIDE, baby. You puke your cotton candy and corn dog out afterwards, but then you turn right around and get back on the Texas Cyclone--because of the RIDE.

That, and the Astros will win. :p

My guy went 9-1 this weekend for me in CF and NFL ... and he told me to take St. Louis on Monday but I couldnt because I was at the game and there's no way I can go against the 'Stros....... but this is what he told me today.

200,000* NL GAME OF THE YEAR Part 4
Your winners here is on Roy Oswalt and the Astros!

I gave you the Cards in that unreal comeback on Monday but do not worry as the boys from Houston will not quit after that abysmal loss. Houston is not great but they are veterans and very professional and will put it behind them.

I like Mark Mulder. The guy is a former Cy Young award winner and has the better lineup backing him up but Roy Oswalt is an outright baller and will duplicate that amazing game two performance today at Busch.

The Houston righty is unhittable at times and he is never fazed by the pressure. Pujols and the Cards are the better hitting team but tonight they will not be!

4-1 Astros! :) so is time to RIDE!!!!!!!!!

I'm still numb, though comfortably so.

I saw it, but I don't believe. Surely any minute now I am gonna wake and realize it was just a dream.
