She probably meant "Sir" as in a sign of respect. I worked in retail and addressed everyone that wasn't a kid as "Sir" or "Ma'am".
In my jurisdiction, I can still legally have sex with girls that are 16-years old for another 10 months.
This really didn't make me feel old, but made me feel creepy. I was walking my dog, like I do everyday. The kids were playing at the end of the street and this girl (had to be like 9 or 10) comes up and wants to pet the dog and asking his name and all that crap. My dog is loving it, the kid is loving playing with him, but I am looking around to see if Chris Hanson is about to jump from behind a tree asking me what I was doing. The pervs and Dateline in the world have made anything involving kids kind of awkward.
actually i think your right times have changed i mean if your over 18 there is no reason you should be talking to a little 10 year old right? it just looks weird to ppl. that situation is creepy. I only talk to girls under 16 if they are related to me. and im 22
Realizing I'm old : Seeing that 80's music is considered "Oldies" Underage girls: South Carolina's the place for ya Realzing I'm too old for underage girls: Working in a restaurant years back where all the waitstaff would mingle with each other, a host girl I was talking with the most got picked up by her parents and had choir recital or some kind of school extracurricular to go to....got to finding out she just turned 16, but "dated older".... I was going to 21 and over bars and clubs seeing plenty girls of age already. Just couldnt get around to advancing on it. That was the first time I remember feeling like a "negative influence" on a girl rather than it being mutual acceptable bonding.
I know a black chick in my neighborhood (they all black anyway) and the first time I saw her I tought she was a prostitute, she had a big ass, big boobs and she was like 5'8'', when I asked her age she told me she was 12. (I wasn't lookin for sex)I was like !
