I thought realgm linked threads weren't allowed... All they do is copy and paste other folks hard work onto their site.

Paul is more likely than Melo.

    read my post above yours

what Den would get at deadline from NY wouldnt be better from what other teams would give

If a team that is close to be a contender (like Dallas) can basically rent a superstar for 1/2 a season for the cost of expirings (which melo would be anyway) and some future 1st round picks then so be it.

I am sure a lot of teams would risk the chance for winning it all like that and its not like it would cripple their franchise for the future..the hypothetical trade i suggested would mean Dallas would have to have nene for one more year...nene who is one of the better centers in the west anyway

i wouldnt be surprised at all if some contending team does rent him like that...That team in Miami make look kind of out of sorts right now but the longer they play together and the longer they have to get people on their teams (adding a MLE type player each year) the harder its going to be to stop them i think teams like SA, Dallas, Boston may realize that this year could be realistically the last year they can win it all with the core they have right now.

I don't think the nets at this point has the best deal. Favors is too raw. Right now Hill>> Favors.

The nets look good now. 2-0! Melo might agree to sign an extension with them.

well let's hope they end up trading with us for scraps then. That would be a decent one year rental. We need to win now with Yao's clock ticking.

Well those deals arent changing i dont see whats the holdup. Maybe they want more from one of these teams? There arent any new ones showing up though. Its

    New York
    New Jersey
    Chicago
    Houston

Thats it. Thats all he will sign with. So since they took Houston and al Western conference teams off the table? Its really just Chicago, New York, and New Jersey. Thats it. i dont know whats the hold up. Either they do want one of these deals or they dont. There isnt anything else coming now that they limited themselves like that. its Eastbound with three teams or nothing. What part of he wont sign anywhere else and these being the only teams there ever will be because he wont sign with any other teams wont they get?

He will just join them next year as a Free Agent....or.....and I know no one else has noticed this.

He could decide to NOT opt out and stay another year at full price in Denver.

If Anthony threatens to walk at the end of the season leaving them with nothing they will send him to NY
