Re-signing T-Mac and Yao

    Let's assume for a minute that the deal for Brent Barry goes down. 4 yrs at 24 mil. Does that have any effect on the amount of money we can offer T-mac in his extension.

    Also, when does Yao's rookie contract end, and who else comes off the books? Are we going to have enough money to keep him here?

    Rockets can offer both Yao and T-Mac max money regardless of the salary cap situtation. In fact, Rockets can offer them more money than any other teams can. It's called the Bird's right since they are on Rockets team when the old contracts expire.

    ha ha ha ha this reminds me of the lakersgroun forum...they ALREADY cosider YAO to be a LAKERS when his rookie contract ends...they said Yao want to come to LA badly...like watever
