Okay I was just reading the SPorting News article on the Rockets and I was just wondering what you guys thought about the seven potential free-agent options the Rockets had at Forward.

FOR ME IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE IT WOULD HAVE TO BE
    1: AUSTIN CROSHERE
    2: RASHARD LEWIS
    3: Bo Outlaw
    4: Adonal Foyle
    5: Kurt Thomas
    6: Jahidi White
    7: Scott Pollard

Just wondering what order you would consider putting them in and why?

Croshere is good but he is no Lewis in terms of potential. Here would be the order I'd put them in.

    1. Rashard Lewis
    2. Austin Croshere
    3. Kurt Thomas
    4. Bo Outlaw
    5. Scot Pollard
    6. Jahidi White
    7. Adonal Foyle

Crisco- just curious, what do you have against Kurt Thomas? I like his game and I think he'd be a good fit, but I noticed you had him last on this list and I saw he was on your most hated players list also.

I think he is a dirty player.

I like his game, but hate his antics during games. He stares in anger at people waaayy too much. Always trying to pick a fight. Seems like he wants to injure people sometimes. I think the Rockets could do better.

Oh I see. I knew I had seen him stare down people sometimes during games, but I didn't realize he did it a whole lot. Still, I think he can fit in well with the Rockets. This guy can score very well and also can rebound fairly well. However, I think he is expecting the same amount of money as Croshere, and IMO he isn't anywhere near Croshere in overall talent or how well he'll fit in. But if he would come for an exception, I'd want him over all of those other guys except of course for Lewis and Croshere.

I think Lewis and Austin have to be the frontrunners but if you really want a player who can help us out it's Kurt Thomas. He can score off the pick and roll plays tough defense and is not scared to get in a guys face. Thomas would be a perfect fit for the rockets to protect Francis and Mobley from guys like Matt Geiger.

Croshere, definitely. Lewis's games resmbles steve & cat's too much. I hadn't had a chance to see him that much during the season but he has loked real solid in the playoffs.

After watching game 1 against the Lakers, I have to agree that Croshere is the player we need. He has a sweet shooting touch and is not afraid to get hit when driving the lane. Not to mention the guy can actually hit his free throws.

    Honest question:
Before the playoffs would Croshere even have been on the list?
He is playing great, but I never gave him a second look until the Knicks game where he was on fire.

Yes. He was actually playing a LOT better before the playoffs. I been watching him awhile.

Before the playoffs I doubt Lewis would have been on hardly anyones list tho.

Actually Lewis started getting attention a little before playoffs. He played alot of big games for them and he impressed alot of people. Seattle loves him alot and Payton does not want him to leave.

    Crisco,

I disagree. I think we absolutely need a thug. You need to protect your star player, especially at one of the smaller positions. I know it is a hockey mentality, but why do think nobody has come out and pasted Stockton.

Not everyone needs a bodyguard on the court.

I think Francis can take care of himself.

    Thomas is a scrub.

And the Rockets dont need to start playing dirty. They just need to play better.
