saw bigger faster stronger last night a documentary about steroid use it was pretty well done and entertaining 8/10 also watched outsourced which was ok had some funny indian culture moments and it depicts india better than other films i have seen but it had a very shallow story that didnt really end right 5/10
Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton silent shorts are funny as hell... I did not know Fatty was involve in a rape scandal that derailed his career.. I mean this guy was in the beginning of silent filming or even before Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton became Icons..
Shutter Island The quality of the film was superb. From the camera work to the atmosphere and set designs to the acting and editing as well as the score. It was definitely engrossing and suspenseful. I think initially though I was a bit disappointed in the ending...I was expecting it go a certain way, and anticipating a conclusion that never came. But after letting the movie stir in my head a bit more, it does all perfect sense, and is all the more powerful for what it ultimately turned out to be. 8/10
Just watched Tombstone again on Bluray and give it an 8.5/9 out of 10. Would have given it a 9.5, but I didn't like Dana Delany as Earp's love interest. A major mistake that's jarring considering how superb the rest of the cast is in this amazing western. And yes, I went out and bought this on Bluray despite having seen it 4 or 5 times. It was worth it.
1408: 5-10 kinda stupid and not really that scary Paranormal Activity: 7-10 freaky but nothin special Emloyee of the Month: 7-10 funny, has Dane Cook and Jessica Simpson Role Models: 8-10 hilarious, laughed almost the entire time
Finally watched Toy Story 3...it was pretty decent, not as good as the first one, but which sequel is...7/10 my g/f cried at the end...I was like seriously? its a fn cartoon...
What's wrong with that? I prefer to buy movies that I have seen multiple times and know I will enjoy on DVD/Blu-Ray. I would never buy a movie I haven't seen.
It's still a 10 / 10 for me, despite the fact that agree with your sentiment on Dana Delany. It's just superb. And yes, i picked up a blu ray copy too, even though i've seen it multiple times.
Kick Ass 8/10 - Not what I was expecting, but very good. Undisputed 2 : Last Man Standing 7/10 - Good martial arts ultimate fighter movie. 9 Songs 5/10 - got this on netflix streaming. Very explicit... Clash of the Titans - 6.5/10 same as the old one, but better special effects. Inception 8/10 - Great Movie
25th Hour (2002) 8.5/10 Brilliant movie by Spike Lee about using one man's last night of freedom with his friends and family before going to prison as a metaphor for New York after 9/11. Watch especially for Edward Norton's "***** you!"monologue.
Yea, my wife just got netflix a couple weeks ago and has been watching Marilyn Monroe movies like a mad woman. I'm actually finding Monroe annoying, guess I'm a brunette fan.
