    BFG - 5.5/10

The animation in this movie was amazing but the story just felt meh to me. The story kind of plateaued and never got to an interesting climax and then it just ended.

Anyone seen the new Bourne movie yet? Wondering if it's worth catching at the theater.

Abandoned with Dominic Purcell. 8/10 perfect pace, not too long, great acting. Recommend it.

    Star Trek - Beyond
6 of 10 (and I am being generous)

More action than plot. The ST franchise is officially running on fumes.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: solid film, Tina Fey and Martin Freeman are great as usual. 11.34/17

My All American - 6 out of 10. Despite the relatively low rating, I still enjoyed the movie and recommend it. Acting and writing (and makeup in the first and last scenes) weren't the best, and the only recognizable actor was Aaron Eckhart playing UT coach Darrell Royal. But still a good football bio pic of Freddie Steinmark. Heck, it was free on Netflix, so well worth the watch.

    The Usual Suspects
Great movie. It was pretty good but pretty obvious what was going to happen. Overall very enjoyable. 8/10.

Gladiator - 9/10 First time watching it, and this film was great! Even though it was long, and I watched it over 3 netflix sessions, I still felt like it went by real quick for a 2 1/2 hour movie.

The Big Short 10/10 - Loved it! I'm a really big Financial nerd when it comes to learning about history of financial crises. This movie hit the nail on the head! Very entertaining, very informative, and I believe they taught you what things were enough to where you don't need to know finance to enjoy it! (Think of Wolf of Wall Street)

    Suicide Squad - 6/10

Will Smith (Deadshot) and Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn) carried the movie. More character driven than plot driven. Back story for all of the major characters took a lot of time and made the movie run a little long. There will certainly be a sequel which won't have that problem.

    The Big Short 10/10

You know it's a good movie when you already know how it's going to end and yet you're still entertained.

Mark Baum: I have a feeling in a few years people are going to be doing what they always do when the economy tanks. They will be blaming immigrants and poor people.

Which is exactly what the **** happened!

Worst of the Matt Damon Bourne movies, but that says more to the high quality of the other 3.

Saw it yesterday, probably give it a 8/10. If you liked the other ones, you will like this one.

Agreed with all on Big Short.

Star Trek - 7/10. Good visuals, characters are always good. Plot a little weak. Action a little too absurd

    Straight Outta Compton

    6/10

Just seeing it now after hearing all the hype made it a bit too over hyped for what it was. Not bad at all and would recommend, but not as good as I was lead to believe.

    Ride Along 2 - 2/10

What the schitte did I just watch? Ruined my whole ride on the plane.

    Central Intelligence - 7.5/10

Very enjoyable. Kevin Hart isn't as annoying with his overused little man syndrome jokes. I've come to really enjoy the Rock movies as of late.

Battle Royale 6.5/10. I liked it but the action scenes got borderline comical which took away some from the movie.

A lot of good things about the movie, but just the fact that I couldn't understand a word anyone said, especially the dad, makes me not want to watch it again or recommended to anyone.
