Hope you broke up that last part to highlight the irony in what people are suggesting But if not, if we have a power dancer start reading tweets people will start complaining at how comcast objectifies women. What people really want is just a naked stripper sitting in a chair for the 2-3 minutes in place of tweet-reading.
Power dancers are already at the games. I'm sure Betty Friedan would agree that objectification is already present. Haven't see any naked strippers though, but those might not show up with League Pass. For me, the Ho Chen issue comes down to: he is not the Rockets. I'm not interested in his comments, nor in the nice lady who wanders the stands talking to fans, nor even in the impressive volunteers. I'm even not interested in about 40% of what the announcers say, though that's harder to filter. If Ho Chen was replaced with a Power dancer, the oxytocin would cause me to pay attention for a minute, rather than taking an email break from the game. But since the only point to that segment is to make the fans pay attention to the game, and since I'm already paying attention, it really doesn't matter who recites the tweets.
On second thought, maybe the point of the segment is CF-super-lite, for those who have no interaction with other fans. Still, not interested.
Sorry Clutch, I didn't realize that sarcasm was forbidden in a lame ass, irrelevant thread. I'm sure he's a good guy..so are a lot of the other people on this forum that take unnecessary heat. Although I do enjoy the occasional laugh, I could really careless about Ho Ch. Unless he keeps reading the same twitter questions, which may or may not be the case anymore..I dont really pay attention to him. But thanks clarifying what I can/cant post on your forum!
Me offended? Not at all, watching people fall and burn is hilarious lol. I'm actually entertained. I'm rooting for you to keep it up and see where this ends, Clutch is awesome at putting the smackdown.
I dont doubt that. My long -standing experience with him is demonstrated in post count... I'm in it for the entertainment too. It's hard to take anything that anyone says for face value
I couldn't care less if he knew nothing about the game. It's not like I look for in-depth questions from sports reporters. If they asked anything worthwhile, either 99% of the population wouldn't care about it or they'd never be allowed in the gym again. As for Ho Chen, the guy seems cool and is always a floating smiling head in those interviews on nba.com/rockets.com. It's like "where's waldo" when you try looking for him. lol. TEN FOR DAT HO CHEN! SANG IT!
I think he's solid; just CSN trying to keep up with all the social media stuff. Now...that gorgeous black chick...whats her name and where can I see more of her?
reading tweets on TV is so annoying--it defeats the purpose of going on twitter. We can't wait for HoChen to say, "@Rocketfan5533 says, hey, they read my tweet on TV"
10/10 the guy is really easy to laugh at (like in a good natured way nothing malicious)... I can't ask for anything more, his position is certainly not about bb knowledge
It does sound kind of lame when he reads of the twitter usernames: "getmoney @ 223 tweeted ; We need to score points...", but how can you blame the guy for doing his job?
So many shows do this now. They do it on CNBC, too. And you know they're rolling their eyes when they have to say those usernames. It's like "seriously? you're going to make me read this guy's name before repeating his comments?"
