I think when this story broke a while back, 50 Cent said it was filed basically for what Mr. Brightside said. I doubt he's burned through all his Vitamin Water money yet. I think I saw him on CNBC trying to pimp some other investment he was getting into a few months ago.
I was reading something very similar on Allen Iverson. Everytime he'd go into a strip club he'd throw out like $30k-40k. Travelled with an entourage of 50, shelling out money for them to buy cars, jewelry, homes, etc. Now he's done. He has a $30 million trust fund through his shoe endorsement, but he can't touch it until he's 55, and his wife already gets half. But at least he can retire comfortably, hopefully. There are just too many of these stories.
The beauty of being a successful entertainer is that he can essentially own a company that provides "wardrobe" and other benefits to its employees (him). He can basically do whatever fun thing he wants to do, bring a camera or call a magazine and call it a business trip/marketing. Beyond when he purchases homes, I doubt he ever has a million dollars of liquid cash. He may have started as a rapper but he's much smarter with his money than most. There's a reason he's worth hundreds of millions.
I think you mean, whats the deal with the Suzuki? Spoiler He needs the Suburbans to haul around the G-G-G-G-G-Unit! He filed personal bankruptcy, I believe, to get from under a personal lawsuit from a crazy biatch. His companies are worth no telling how much and probably has everything under that umbrella.
They're apparently bullet-proof, with bomb-proof undercarriages, built for the Iraq war, and run $200,000 ... http://www.forbes.com/sites/zackoma...ppers-delight-inside-50-cents-car-collection/
