As much as I dislike the Rangers this was a pretty classy move. http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/mlb/news/story?id=6641490

Not really. It was something that happened in spring training after he'd already been signed. While these are classy moves by both teams, I'm wondering why exactly they didn't wait until the very end of the draft to make them. I mean, if you want to draft one of these guys, great, but shouldn't the priority be drafting players who are actually going to play for you? Maybe the teams felt that anybody who stood a chance of making it to the majors had already been drafted and they could afford to "waste" a pick in that manner.
