Again Thank you Craguin. I posted how the Rockets as a team defended the 3 in 14/15 & 15/16 on another site, using the same break-down. I thought I bookmarked it....had no luck retrieving it.
I could go for CJ Miles. 57% from left corner 3 on 28 attempts in a 6'6" frame. 38% above the break on 138 attempts.
Would love either of these. Edit: Didn't realize Williams was only 6'1". Would prefer Nick Young due to height.
Maybe for Capela...? Other than that i don't think we have a single asset for the Bucks tbh, Brogdon is doing good and i think he'll be an important piece for them going forward.
Yeah, I was impressed with him when we played them. His play making/decision making seemed good. He shoots well from Left/Right corners & above the break 3-pointers (small sample sizes). He was a 2nd rd pick. DRtg is noted as 104 on NBA.com/stats....111 on basketball-reference.com (per 100 possessions). Asst% is 23% compared to EGo 14%. TOV% was about the same for both Gordon & Brogdon (Gordon 10% & Brogdon 15%). Too bad KJ & 2nd rd pick wouldn't work.
Thanks for those numbers. Yeah, no chance we can get him for that package but yeah, i think he's just not available, the guy seems a nice steal so far, great contract too...
IMO Brogan was THE steal of 2016 draft. Great effort, nba body, super high BB IQ, versatile defender, 4 tool player. Just not a great athlete.
And arguably better than Ennis right now. Ennis has about a 25% TOV% at approx the same usage as Brogdon. Beverley is about 14% TOV%.@about 14% Usage.
Did anyone happen to read the dreamshake piece on Brewer trades. http://www.thedreamshake.com/2017/1/25/14379508/corey-brewer-trade-options I like Teletovic; but let's get Brogdon also.
I prefer trade scenario with either the 76ers or Magic (w/tweaks). Brewer, KJ, rights to Llull plus 1st for Nerlens Noel & Robert Covington is the ideal trade IMO. Then fill other spots as follows: Beard-Splash-Gabe York Bev-Jamaal Franklin* Ariza-Robert Covington Ryno-Smoove-Dekker Nerlens Noel-Capela-Harrell-Nene *Franklin could could be the next Bev but at 6'5 with just under 7 ft wingspan. Or go with my revised Magic trade - Brewer, Dekker, Ennis plus 1st for Aaron Gordon and Hezonja. Roster as follows: Beard-Splash-Gabe York Bev-Jamaal Franklin Ariza-Aaron Gordon* Ryno-Smoove-Wiltjer Capela-Larry Sanders-Harrell-Nene Another athletic long lock down defender at 3 to pressure Durant, Kawhi, Lebron. A GORDON also adds another ball handler, facillitator, passer who can dribble worth a damn.
Do you think this kind of basketball the Rox are playing is championship basketball? Good to win everything? I don't think so - no one likes to rebound, there is no rim defense (Capela is too flimsy and always looks lost out there), Harden is a turnover machine, there is no post-up player. Plus nowadays even their 3-point shooting has gone south. They are MISSING (I call it wasting) 25-30 shots per game. Can they get closer to the basket instead and look for layups/fouls?
