I don't think i would do this trade, i love Gasol and he would be amazing here but at this point (he's going ot be 33 next season and he had a fractured foot last season) eh...still something we should consider i guess...the other two trade ideas though, not really like them tbh... Gordon > Chandler, especially looking at their contract situation. As for Paul, we can sign him as a free agent after dumping a couple of players with less value than Capela and Dekker...i mean, we should trade Anderson and Lou (he'll be an expiring contract) to another team to open up enough cap space and maybe take back a pick, why would you trade Capela (which means you have no centers after that) and Dekker in a sign & trade with Clippers? You would gift them with two young players while losing them for nothing without reason.
This dude went on that Lebron regimen He balled out after the break, IMO dude's gonna breakout. I wonder if he's available.
He might be i guess...aren't the Lakers going to draft Ball? I can see them trying to sell Russell as their main piece in a package for a star.
You probably just made a bunch of the never-Harden fanbase smile. Not an advocate for that, but the Lakers would be a sick team with Harden and George. All the more reason we can never let him go!
Houston Rockets Trade Breakdown Change in Team Outlook: -2.9 ppg, -4.3 rpg, and -0.3 apg. Incoming Players Carmelo Anthony 32 year old, 6-8, 240 lb F from Syracuse 22.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 2.9 apg in 34.3 minutes in 2016-2017 Outgoing Players Ryan Anderson 29 year old, 6-10, 240 lb PF from California 13.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 29.4 minutes in 2016-2017 Trevor Ariza 31 year old, 6-8, 215 lb SF from UCLA 11.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 2.2 apg in 34.7 minutes in 2016-2017
That's what i thought too, but if i'm Indiana i would ask for Ingram instead...maybe that's what they did and why they didn't reach a deal..yet.
how about this? picks and fillers not included http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=k6xk287 its a great retool trade that doesnt lock us up with huge contracts. lots of flexibility, something morey loves. lots of depth, something hopefully mda tkaes advantage of instead of overplaying players. bledsoe / bev brad / eg crow / ariza dekker / ariza / harrel cap / nene / zeller
k then what about hypothetically, if you had a 2nd option that had crazy regular season stats and everyone thought he was a first, and he just had a career/historic year, wouldnt that be a good trade? we'd be getting picks too btw, suns would get the best or two best picks.
But seriously, this is the worst kind of trade possible if we have to trade Harden, that roster after the trade has no potential whatsoever...it would be the perfect recipe to mediocrity and years of battling for the 8/10th place like...after Yao retired, i don't really want that lol
Bring me Ingram and we can start a conversation in that scenario. On a side note, maybe at this point we should also expect players available to be extended with the designated player rule to be more valuable as a trade asset even when they're expiring or close...unless they make it clear they will leave 100%.
