Agree on taking a shot on Hezonja but can't see Rockets being able to swing both of the trades you're proposing. Has to either be either Sacramento or Orlando. It will take a good young player and pick(s) and Rockets just don't have enough of either for more than one substantial trade. Don't think anyone will take Brew unless a pick is added, never mind getting anything of worth for him.

Brewer, KJ, Nene, Harrell and Rockets 2017 1st for Lee, O'Quinn and fillers.

    Beverley / Lee
    Harden / Gordon

I posted on Duece thread, "[Poll] Type of Player to Add:..." (post #28)

per stats from 82games.com "Production by Position"
    PG...............played predominantly by Beverley/Harden/Gordon
..........................................Bev (PG 48% of time with a +230)
    ...............................................Harden (PG 44% w/+234)
    ...............................................Gordon (PG 0% w/-14)

    SG.................played predominantly by Harden/Gordon/Brewer/Ariza
    ................................................Harden (SG 31% w/+101)
    ................................................Gordon (SG 51% w/+257)
................................................Brewer (SG 8% w/+36)........(fails the eye test for most)
    ...................................................Ariza (SG 1% w/+6)

    SF..................played predominantly by Ariza/Gordon/Brewer/Dekker
    ...............................................Ariza (SF 62% w/+309)
    ...............................................Gordon (SF 4% w/+18)
...............................................Brewer (SF 23% w/+92).........(fails the eye test for most)
    ................................................Dekker (SF 6% w/-19)

    PF...................played predominantly by Ryno/Harrell/Dekker
    ................................................Ryno (PF 57% w/+221)
    ................................................Dekker (PF 34% w/+77)
    ................................................Harrell (PF 0% w/ -2)
    ................................................Nene (PF 0% w/ 0)

    Center...............played predominantly by Capela/Nene/Ryno/Harrell
    .................................................Capela (C 35% w/+38)
    ..................................................Nene (C 29% w/+188)
    ..................................................Ryno (C 2% w/+7)
    ..................................................Harrell (C 31% w/+168)

One can see how D'Antoni is working his rotation. If I'm the GM I can't justify adding another big center
without moving one of the four main centers on the roster: Capela/Harrell/Nene/Chinanu
Where do you fit your trade target in to the lineup? Lou W/Gallo/Wilson C/Tyson C/Boban/PJ Tucker, etc

    "If" Harden/Bev man the PG position........(44% / 48%)
    Harden/Gordon man the SG position.........(31% / 51%)
    Ariza/
    Brewer man the SF position..............(62% / 23%)
    Ryno/Dekker man the PF position..............(57% / 34%)
    Capela/Nene/Harrell man the C position...(35% / 29% / 31%)

One could see why I push for SF. It's the weakest link IMHO.

    Edited later: Harden is approximately 75% of 2 positions; Ariza is 69% of 3 positions (mostly 1 pos);
Ryno 59% of 2 positions (mostly 1 position); Gordon 55% of 2 positions (mostly 1 position).

My biggest problem with this trade is I'd feel bad if Harrell was exiled to Sacramento. Careers go there to die.

    ONE HELL of a TRADE

Knicks OUT: Noah, Rose, Thomas, Baker
    Knicks IN: H. Barnes,Temple, M.Barnes, Cauley Stein

    Kings In:Rose
Kings OUT: Casspi,Barnes, Temple, Cauley Stein

    Mavs OUT: Barnes, Bogut,
Mavs IN: Noah, Brewer, KJ, Thomas

    Rockets IN; Bogut, Casspi, Baker
    OUt: Brewer and McDaniels

Why would the Knicks do it? you lose 2 of your old vets who suck and get in younger guys barnes and WCS, temple who are ok players but good value to get back for rose and noah.
    KINGS? push for 8 seed

mavs? barnes was a terrible contract now they can rebuild with KJ and Lance Thomas, but have to take bad a decent passer center in Noah.

Rockets? Finally have a great screening center in Bogut, Casspi an upgrade over Brewer and Baker a nice young player. Good thing is they all expire in July and we have good Cap for an actual Free agent like Gordon Hayward or Serge Ibaka

Another name I've seen thrown around by a few posters who I would not mind Morey trying to acquire is James Johnson.

Wing defender, can play small ball 4, and can can play limited point forward off the bench as a tertiary play maker.

    So in summary, targets:

    Kyle O'Quinn
    Robert Covington
    James Johnson

And I think with Morey's creativity he could get all 3 while only giving up picks and non rotation players. (I think Covington has the highest value out of the 3)

It's possible. KJ/Ennis are expiring-team option control deals that the Magic may want.

Hezonja has not been the most ideal team mate from what I understand. Possibly due to team role
    much like Nerlens......only different.

    Some Hezonja tidbits:
    http://hoopshype.com/player/mario-hezonja/

I like the one that states Hezonja packed up his condo two months ago.

Kings are still exploring talks for cousins.....

Imo it solves our biggest problem and that's a big man who can bang and not be intimidated by other huge teams.

If we can get Cousins without giving up harden Gordon and Anderson I'll trade the rest of the roster and multiple draft picks.

Dekker/Capela/Kj/brewer and our 1st this year and in 2019.

    Would that get it done?

    Harden/bev/Ariza/Ryno/cousins

    Gordon/nene/Harrell/Ennis

Prob would need to include Harrell and the 2nd round picks for a backup wing but that's a great team with a lot of cap space to sign guys in the offseason to surround harden/cousins with one more guy on or close to Anderson/Gordon level.

Cousins is the wrong center from the Kings to want... So he and Harden can fight over the ball and leadership of the the team; we just had that with Howard --> don't want any more of that, please no one ends up happy.

Defend, block some shots, rebound, set strong picks and finish hard at the rim (better if you are still on rookie contract) --> Willie is the pick of their centers.

plus no Kings ransom to get him

    Posted in another thread:

    Sacramento In:
    Ryan Anderson
    Jahlil Okafor
    Corey Brewer

That's a nice haul for Cousins and a 1st while dumping Rudy Gay.

    Philadelphia In:
    Rudy Gay
    2017 Houston 1st
    2018 Sacramento 1st
    Chinanu Onaku

They get a first and a project for Okafor, while taking a first to increase salary to take Rudy Gay who could be instrumental in helping Simmons grow.

    Houston In:
    Demarcus Cousins
    Kostas Koufus

We go all in on winning now. Cousins will be happy to play with Harden who will give Demarcus more space and take some pressure off of him. In the offseason you pick up some aging veterans who can really solidify this roster.

    Koufus/Capella
    Cousins/Harrell
    Ariza/Dekker
    Harden/Gordon
    Beverley/

    Depth: Nene/McDaniels/Ennis/Brown/Wiltjer

    Sign Chalmers

Only see 2 teams that have/would be willing to give Sac the high valued young players/picks they want.

    Lakers and Celtics.
