Most wont be a fan of the below: Trade Harden for Blake Griffin , Sign Conley, and another quality player..
Since we don't have to much to offer to Durant right now we can do these moves before we get a meeting with him. Houston Trades Trevor Ariza and Pat Beverly and we get Bledsoe PHX can either Trade Beverly for Sneil or whatever, they do have to many guards. Now We have a decent PG. Sign Harford to a near max. Sign KD for a Max Now with those guys on Board we can go to KD and have a real business Basketball meeting with him. Something like that will be our only chance to get him. If not this year then maybe next. Bledsoe/GP2 Harden/KJ KD/Dekker/Sewer? Horford/Beasly/Harrel Capela/Harford/Onuaku
If we could get jack before his waive date while dumping Brewer for an asset like a 2nd rd pick and rights to a player overseas let's just say gentile. I would do it and waive jack. Essentially the trade is Brewer/future2nd/rights to gentile for 8mill extra cap space. Brooklyn needs any and all assets it can get. They are completely bare. I could see them moving bro-lo also in the soon future.
They would have little use for Ariza and Bev without Lopez, they are either trying to win, or rebuilding without picks which is really a road to nowhere. They need to trade Lopez for a high pick or good young player, or just try to win. Perhaps they would be interested in Capela, but I don't think he's valuable enough to net us Lopez. They should just blow their cap space this summer and try win until they get there picks back in 2 years. Poor nets, that crazy short sided owner ruined them right out of the gate.
It's not that bad with the Nets. I really like what the new GM is doing. Next year they do have a pick in the pick swap. It's not that desperate. RHJ and LeVert at least have a great talent and Brolo is a good asset at his $ and the contract wording protecting from injury. They can also maybe take on Lamb's contract for a minor asset and bring on Rodriguez from overseas. I honestly think if the new GM is allowed to work without interruptions from the owner, the Nets in 2 years will no longer be the joke of the league. They will at least be a treadmill team but with some assets.

Burke is about as average as they come. I would only sign him as a 9th-10th man. Jack, after a major injury, no thanks.
We should be trying to trade for Love. Buy low, sell high. And Love is as low as he's ever been. If we can keep Capela and sign a SF FA... Beverley Harden FA Love Capela Wouldn't it be nice to get a Batum in there? Use the rest of the cap space to sign team friendly contracts. I think that's a team that can compete.
