Howard deal can be done like this, send Charlotte a future second rounder if necessary http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=j5hz22m
Perfect Solution Want to turn the Rockets into instant contenders AND set them up for the future? Trade #1: HOU trades Dwight Howard to MIA for Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside, Gerald Green, and Udonis Haslem Trade #2: HOU trades Ty Lawson, Corey Brewer, and Terrence Jones to CLE for Kevin Love and Richard Jefferson According to ESPN's trade machine, these two deals work. Starters: PG Goran Dragic SG James Harden SF Trevor Ariza PF Kevin Love C Hassan Whiteside Bench/D League: PG Patrick Beverley, Jason Terry SG Gerald Green, Marcus Thornton SF Josh Smith, Richard Jefferson, Sam Dekker PF Donatas Motiejunas, Montrezl Harrell C Clint Capela
i don't know why but i only see us dealing howard to the kings http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jdkoof2 after this do whatever you have to do to remove brewer and lawson. i wanna see more kings trades
My trade idea We lose Dwight and Ariza, get back an expiring David Lee, JR Smith (who expires next year), and Jae Crowder, who is signed for 4 more years at a great deal. In this scenario I would want 2 1st round picks from Boston (the Brooklyn pick isn't happening, so 2 in the 20's), and maybe a future pick from Cleveland.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=hlrstvs Houston IN: Love, Mozgov, Norris Cole Cleveland IN: Dwight Howard, Ryan Anderson New Orleans IN: Brewer, T-Jones, 1st Round pick from Cleveland
Lmao@ppl thinking we're getting Kevin Love. CLEVELAND IS NOT STUPID!! Love is not gonna just fall in our lap. We don't have enough talent to trade for a guy like that
We'll be lucky if we can get PJ Tucker. We'll probably trade someone away for picks or the rights to some foreign player. This is going to be a thoroughly underwhelming trade deadline, which is really only fitting for the season.
If you're going to deal Dwight, you need to dangle him in front of a team like Charlotte that doesn't have the ability or appeal to draw major free agents. So if we're unable to get Boston to play ball with the draft pick(s) game, a team like Charlotte could have a lot to offer. Something like... Dwight, Lawson for Kemba Walker, Al Jefferson, Marvin Williams. Just an example. Very low risk since Jefferson and Marvin are expiring and Kemba is worth every penny of his $12M annual salary.
If Dwight Stays: Rockets IN: Ryan Anderson & PJ Tucker Pelicans IN: Corey Brewer & KJ McDaniels Suns IN: T Jones
