Is Amile Jefferson getting any mins with Magic? He should not be too hard to aquire but worry about MDA not playing him. Rockets should trade for Josh Jackson and Bruno Caboclo. They would upgrade the length, spacing and defense on team dramatically. Plus both can score the ball, rim run and rim protect giving D'Antoni more confidence in them. Payton played like two games before getting injured, Ntilikina is actually starting to play better so, yeah, Clemons isn't better then them as today, then again with the Knicks i guess you never know, but i wouldn't get my hopes up.

Saw some highlights from yesterdays game against the pels. How about kenrich williams? Plays defense, a tweener who can shoot threes and hustles at getting rebounds.
Jackson and Bruno would help but we would have to trade a little substance because of Jackson’s salary —> leaves us with Capela as our only trade assets for the rest of the season. If we could obtain just Bruno that would have more appeal to me than both because we would maintain the little flexibility we have. Bruno is now able to hit the 3 ball where Jefferson still struggles with it. Jefferson is a better overall player then both Bruno and Jackson, IMO. I think you are right a phone call and bent can of soup would get him. I also think we could teach him to shoot like Bruno.
Without a consistent 3 ball, Amile (6'9 7'0 wingspan) is a 5 in MDA system. Rockets need a backup 5 for sure but their need for longer wings is even greater. Bruno (6'10 7'7 wingspan) plays 3/4/5 while Jackson (6'8 6'10 wingspan) can play 2/3/4.
Bruno is physically bigger but Jefferson plays bigger and his rebounding, defense and inside game is far superior. If MDA choice is to play him at the 5 we would still benefit from having him as a Rocket. Just want to see the grit that Jefferson plays with on our team, my hope is that it would be contagious.
