Ran into Harden, J-Smoove, Ariza, JVG, and Thibs in Chicago tonight

funny chart. but does anyone really eat their steaks rare? is that even safe?

 

Smith seems to be better friends with Harden than Dwight.

 

i'm salivating at THE potential...

 

lol people commenting on the size of the steak don't understand that harden is 6'5" 220 and an elite athlete. He's gotta eat a lot .

 

I used to always get medium rare.

One night out for dinner at a steakhouse I asked again for medium rare, and what was given to me was incredibly rare.

So red inside - it honestly made me feel sick looking at it.

Persevered and took a bite, and haven't look back since. I won't eat anything that's not rare anymore.

I love it. Haven't had any problems eating it.

 

hamburger is what's risky, as the meat goes through the grinder there's all kinds of potential for bacteria to be introduced and mixed into the grind. Bacteria basically live on the surface of the meat--so when you sear your steak on the outside you kill any bacteria that are there, on the inside of the steak there's no way for it to have gotten contaminated.

And if you think that's a funny chart, you should google "blue rare" steak photos.

 

Well I'm sure he's in better shape than me. I hope he's in better shape than at least 50% of NBA players.

 

if the beef is of the absolute best quality then there's only one choice and it's blue

 

Chart is off by a level or two. First one is medium rare and second is medium to well done.

 

Judging by the 1st half performance filled with no D, turnovers and bricks, Harden probably hit some strip club after the wagyu

I only eat rare steaks, and that chart is not correct. The first pic looks like medium rare. I've never once gotten sick from a rare steak. Dipping the steak in it's own blood sauce is heavenly. Try it.

 

That's pretty cool! I would LOVE to meet JVG. Obviously would like to meet Harden too, but JVG just seems like a great guy to have a beer and talk sports/life with.

I personally know someone that is at least ten times richer than Harden (yes, he's a billionaire). He also puts ketchup on his steaks from high-end steakhouses.
