I saw a Vanessa Hudgens look alike the other day. Could have sworn it was her, but figured it wasn't her since working at a Papa Johns didn't seem likely.

man, i've never had mansaf before. That looks amazing!

Since we are on the subject of food and Ramadan, maybe we should keep track of great places to break our fasts here in houston. Any suggestions? I am willing to try out some new places

ISGH made the call because they calculated it ahead of time. Everyone else backed off because Saudi announced that they weren't doing it, so many arab led Mosques similarly followed suit.

Odds are that Saudi will still have Eid on the same day as us though, will be interesting to see how they work themselves into that one.

    But desi food >>

Aren't we supposed to check of the moon is there to decide of we are supposed to keep fast or not? Cause I mean, during the time of the prophet, they didnt have any thing to calculate so they looked at the moon to decide. And I don't unserstand America is supposed to keep fast the same day Saudi is doing it because America side has to check for the moon themselves while Saudi (Asia) searches themselves. Back then, they didnt have a great form of communication to tell America that Saudi is fasting and so on.. (I hope I was making sense, if not, I'll try to make it more clear later)
