Ok, now Mavs have a chance. We need to play seriously.

This is a proud moment for the Rockets organization. It's not often you own someone so hard that they create an imaginary injury so they can escape from their ten million dollar dream job.

Covering Harden made him crack. The Rox knocked Rondo right off the Mavs.

I really think Cuban deep down is just jealous of the Rockets organization. It's kind of like the neighbor who is trying to keep up with the Jones syndrome. I think he went after Rondo because he thought we wanted Rondo. In the process of trying to muck up our plans he screws over his own organization without even thinking about the consequences.

I know we're rivals and all, but you hate to see an injury like this, especially during such a crucial time in his career. Any word on if this will require surgery? Have other players been the same after coming back from back injury? How do you think this effects his free agency status? I wish Rondo a speedy recovery from back injury!

Was the back injury a stab wound?

Why would an owner who won a championship in 2011 be jealous of a team that made it out of the 1st round once in 20 years?

Give it up bro. It's no use arguing with any Dallas sports fan. They're all delusional. They'll get knocked out of the playoffs and still think they'll win the championship. Not worth the mental energy. Just nod your head and let them be happy in their own delusional world lol.

Dirk Nowitzki is not his doing. He's seen how fast his team is spiraling downward and is trying to hold on to a thread of contention. The minute we made the Harden move, his head turned. They were in the mix. They lost out on Harden and Dwight, and in a frenzy, tried to force our hand with the Bosh situation.

Cuban is trying to avoid the inevitable of knowing that the minute Dirk leaves, the Dallas Mavericks will enter a world of mediocrity. That's why they glorify that 2011 championship like it's the Holy Grail.

No prospective free agent wants to come to Dallas. Cuban is trying so hard to emulate Morey's success of competing now and for the future.

I agree with Carl- to a point. But, then again, it ain't about 2011, it's about now. I think he's more jealous of (1) the Spurs overall, and (2) the Rockets right now. You know how long those championship feelings last- not very long. The year after (2012)? Cuban gets a pass. 2013? Fans get a bit tougher. 2014? They might as well have won in 2001, or 1991. After a few years, fans demand more, and Cuban is no doubt jealous of the Rockets right now b/c (1) we have a superstar for the next several years, (2) he lost out on Dwight Howard, and (3) Year 1 of the Chandler Bird experiment didn't go as planned at all.
