Stupid nonsense, you should be ashamed of yourself for being such a foolish individual.

T-Mac atleast gave us effort- that 2005 team was championship caliber for instance. His team-mates and his COACH (JVG is a straight shooter he isn't going to lie casually) all give him props & respect for his effort and ability. Pippen was straight quit, he never even tried.

This at least proves the haters that say he was a bad teammate wrong.

However, as a huge Tmac fan. They’re wrong lol!

    Shoulda woulda coulda ..... next..
Ever sit next to the bum who is actually a genious but never amounted to anything. That is Tmac.
He can take the hall of fame trophy and shove it where the sun don't shine. It's 30%talent 60%hard work and determination 10% luck. These two guys never played with Lebron or they would have a different opinion after having a taste of the finals or at least getting out of the first round. There is a reason why Lebron at his age is showing no signs of regression. Tmac retired at 34. Lebron at 34 is looking for 3 more rings to chase the Ghost of Jordan.

    Black and White.....

Players can tell there is a Grey Area, where you can be teammates, friends, comrades in battle.

Tmac was a monster to guard. The guy was so gifted . If he was healthy on this Rockets squad, it’s mutliple rings

Let's not overlook the Refs angle. The GSW series showed us the Refs are against us.

The refs already screwed us over in the Yao and Mac era, we are not even talking injury.

He used to make things look so easy at times. He sure is no Roger Federer who looks effortless, while playing such difficult matches.

T-Mac was big time for sure. Shame he couldn’t get it done, but he always played great games especially in the playoffs.

As a person though, he can be pretty insufferable. I’m a huge T-Mac fan but he made a lot of shitty decisions for sure.

U must love cheering for losers. T Mac quit just like Pippen. Only difference, Pippen could lead a team by himself when McGrady will be remembered for a few highlights and nothing more.

Having a few friends back you up doesn’t mean ****. JVG has never came out against his players.

Go look at Kobe’s quote about T Mac, all the skills in the world but no drive to work.

Tmac who couldn’t get past the first round over Lebron who just came off his 8 th straight finals appearance? Nice. Give Lebron Yao, battier scola and Deke and I’m sure he would have got past mat harpiing, okur, boozer and Williams

Rafer and Mooch are two reasons why Tmac never made it out of the first round. Neither one of those guys would start for us now. Mooch wouldn't even be on the summer league team.

The biggest reason was health though. If he was healthy Yao wasn't and vice versa.

It has always taken at least two healthy stars to do anything in the NBA.

I appreciate their support for their teammate, but those two showed how stupid NBA player could be.

From a skillset and physical tools standpoint it's not crazy. Tmac from like 02-05 was insane. Just didn't have that consistent killer instinct Kobe had and LeBron has developed over the years.

Ref's didn't tell tmac to quit in that Toronto game. Refs didn't say let's not tell the team I am undergoing career, I mean season ending surgery...
The refs screwed alot of teams over. They screwed Yao over but Yao went down swinging.
All the talent in the world wasted.

Old angry dude on the internet knows more than former teammates?

Even neutral NBA fans remember McGrady's greatness. It's only the 50% of Clutchfans that blame McGrady (and not Yao's limitations, Carroll Dawson's craziness, Van Gundy's stubbornness, Ryan Bowen's existence, Luther Head's shooting, Michael Finley's out of bounds calls, Carlos Boozer's torching of the Rockets front court, or anyone else) that still hate McGrady as if it erases all of the bad fortune the franchise had during that stretch.

This will always be a 50/50 argument as long as any of us are alive. And it will always be split by how much blame people think should be assigned to McGrady. Because he was a helluva player.

I already made my point that you are foolish. You saying 'McGrady will be remembered for a few highlights and nothing more' only shows I clearly was not wrong. McGrady will be remembered as an HOF 1st Ballot, thats a long way from 'a few highlights'. McGrady also wont be remembered as a quitter by the masses, but as someone plagued with debilitating career limiting injuries. Things Pippen on the Rockets was not.

Also, go on keep adding fuel to the fire. JVG isn't one to beat around the bush or B.S. He may not get into a public fued with his previous players, but he isn't going to hand out un-earned praise. Look how he handled V-Span for instance, whom he did not get along with nor thought would make for a good NBA player. JVG never misses an opportunity to praise TMac.

LOL @ you bringing up Kobe. Kobe listed T-Mac as the toughest guy he has ever had to play against. You think T-Mac didn't try? How crazy that someone relying on nothing but athleticism & zero effort can so easily be the toughest opponent for a player in discussion amongst being the greatest of all time. That argument doesn't fly dude, it isn't realistic.
