[Radio] Walton and Johnson gone?

Good riddance. Got sick of that act in 2003.

 

They suck balls, that's what happened.

 

Clear Channel, who owns the station is having layoffs across the country.

They were mildly entertaining when not talking politics. Shame. Now who will I listen to in the morning?

 

I only lol at Walton and Johnson's radio show.
They always get back on. Remember when the were on rock101?

I typically listen to Opie and Anthony, so I didn't even know.

 

Yeah, they were the death of that station. I remember e-mailing the Program Director when they first came on the air and asking how fast was Jethro driving the truck when those 2 fell off in front of the station.

 

I liked em, but could do without the constant, and i mean constant, obama bashing

 

I hate all of the talk radio BS in the morning. That said, I usually listen to Country Legends 97.1 or Magic 102.1. They don't do as much talking..

i get a tic when i accidentally switch to 93.7 in the morning and hear their dumbass voices for a couple seconds. on some unfortunate days the annoyed feeling stays with me awhile.

like nails on chalkboard, walton and johnson. i hate, hate, hate that radio show. hope this is true.

 

I haven't listened to them in years, but I agree. They were much more entertaining when talking about the mundane as opposed to politics. They used to rip Bush constantly...I can only imagine how bad it got with Obama.

I listened to them on Rock 101. I remember listening to them on my walk to middle school on a CD player that I could also get radio on. After a while, though, I got bored of their show and started listening to sports radio. The rest is history, I guess.

I guess it pretty well sums up their act that I loved the show as a middle school kid, but outgrew it before I made it to high school.

 

Now let's chase the rest of the Clear Channel dreck out of town.
