Villanueva is a lower percentage shooter for a PF and a very poor defender. Carl Landy is the better player by far.

This rumor'd better not be true. Or I would be really pissed.

Same here. I'd rather keep Landry.

Villanueva is a big, atheletic power forward with some talent. Its the type of player we need. But it would be hard to get rid of Landry who is already a contributing part of the team.

Not sure how this trade helps us and any of our pressing needs, unless it sets up another trade.

Each team gets what they want. We get rid of head and get a 6'11" guy who can spread the floor in Villanueva and a decent 7 footer in Mihm. The lakers get a point guard in Lue. The bucks get a great talent in Landry and a serviceable shooter in Head to spell Redd. I say this trade upgrades all 3 teams.

He's a non factor, because he is constantly injured. He misses more games than Yao and Deke.

Charlie V plays like he's 6'8 and Landry plays like he's 6'11. I like Charlie V but i just don't understand why everybody wants to jump to get rid of our PF's, they're good.

Even if this move happens, it would be a lateral move. Weaknesses would still be starting PG and backup C.

I would think about if it was Landry and Luther for Villanueva and Sessions

I love Landry but this is a deal you have to make if it's on the table. Charlie V is a year younger than Landry surprisingly and he has a much larger skill set. I love Landry's hustle, competitive fire, and work ethic but Charlie could be another go to guy for us if need be. Plus the sheer fact that we're trading away Head.... how could you say no? Charlie V is also putting up nearly 13 and 7 in only 22mpg. His career numbers are about 12 and 6 also not to shabby. He's no all star or star even but he's a proven player. With Landry's uncertainty of the knee, his age, limited upside and all the negatives with Head. Make the move.

CV and Mihm would be perfect. I'd give up Landry for CV, no doubt about it.

Yea, having Heads million come off the books is going to send the Rockets soaring into contention. His salary comes off the books before 2010 so I don't know why everyone wants to get rid of the Rockets insurance incase one of T-Mac/Battier/Barry/Artest get injured.
