No one canned Rick, he just wasn't renewed and went their separate ways.

Now Karl, he was canned and abruptly at that.

I think Denver is trying to get a star. They'll look in the way of Smith or Bynum. Although Smith is not a star, he'll make the team better. Either that or they're just trying to suck next year for the draft?
