Can anyone recommend multiplayer co-op games for PS3? All my games are either sports games or single player action games (GTA, Metal Gear etc.). Looking for some games to play with the wife. Bought the Lego Star Wars game a while back and we enjoy that.

I have a $10 PS Store credit I haven't used yet so if there's any good games on there that'd be a plus.

You will love Borderlands 1 & 2. One of the best co-op games out there.

This. Especially 2. Also co-sign on Rayman Legends and/or Origins.

I think the psn has more couch co op games.

I like dungeon hunter alliance, double dragon neon, dungeon defenders, Scott pilgrim vs the world, and tokyo jungle.

    Turtles in Time
    Xmen Arcade

And as the poster above mentioned Borderlands 2. Ultimate in co-op, but I don't know if you can do co-op on the same screen. I assume you can

^ I have Turtles in Time. Was really disappointed, nothing like the SNES version. Thanks for the suggestions, will check those games out.

Yeah I was hoping it was going to still have that animated look but just a lot cleaner looking. I still had fun with my friends playing it though

Dead Space (2/3?) has some fun coop.

    Also, Killzone (2?)

I haven't touched anything but GTAV in my PS3 in a long time, so I'm can't remember which ones I have.

I'm not sure if they still have these available on the psn store but they have those old classic Genesis games to download for some classic co-op side scroller gaming...

Streets of Rage 2 is all I gots to say

Co-op games are pretty much my favorite types of games. Some of my favorites (no particular order):

    Borderlands 1
    Resident Evil 5
    Dead Island
    Portal 2
    Dragon's Crown
    LittleBigPlanet 1
    Castle Crashers
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light

Other pretty good ones a tier below those:

    LittleBigPlanet 2
    Borderlands 2
Scott Pilgrim vs the World: The Game
    Shank 1
    Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon

Maybe the best side-scrollin' beat-'em-up ever made... except for, well... the ridiculously awesome fan re-make for the PC that pretty much puts all the assets of all three SoR games into one game, making it hard for me to go back to the vanilla SoR2.
