I'm looking at getting this TV. Looking for HDMI cables for my PS3 and I see they vary in price from $15 up to $70. Does the brand really matter?
I saw a $10 6' HDMI cable at Fry's cart display last month. They sell it in a plastic bag. One I bought in a fancy package didn't work a month before didn't work. The cheaper one worked better. Brand does NOT matter, in my opinion.
I hate to be a nuisance, but can anyone find me a good cheap HDMI cable for the 360 on that site? I browsed it...but it confused the frick outta me. I don't know what any of that junk means.
http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240 just pick the cheapest one in the color + length you like. if you really don't know which hdmi cord to choose, pick this one. http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10240&cs_id=1024008&p_id=3993&seq=1&format=2 only $5.79
I get all my cables from monoprice...Just make sure you get a 1.3a category 2 HDMI cable...Your PS3 is that way and you need to find out if your new TV is that way as well...Nothing works with it yet, but soon games and blu-rays will use xv color...
Now my only problem...my tv only has one HDMI port (leave me alone you HD nazis!!!) so now I have to pick between having an HDMI cable for my HD DVR or my 360...
You can buy a hdmi switch here, http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10110 I think that might work?
Not to make this thread sound like a broken record, but Monoprice.com is your friend. I have to hold back the laughter when the employees at Worst Buy start claiming that any non-Monster HDMI cable won't work as well.
Polo, I have a PS3 as well and my friend recommended this 22" LCD Widescreen Monitor HannsĀ·G HG-216DPB Black 21.6" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 1000:1 Built in Speakers - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824254028 and for the price, its a steal compared to all the other LCD monitors out there.
