I have never seen that any team's fans did such a stupid thing to against a player who is playing for them. It is disrepectful to the player and fans!

Why did mods delete my thread? As a rockets fan, I can't vote for rockets players?

All-Star games are pointless beauty contests anyway.

The all-NBA teams are the true measuring stick of ability.

This is how you know Jeff wrote a good article, it's pissed a number of people off.

You do realize, by making this thread the exact opposite of what you intended to happen will happen now: the article and the stickied thread itself will stay up for some time now.

How the heck is he being disrespectful to the fans? How is he being disrespectful to the player? He didn't say Yao sucks and he needs to be traded, he didn't say Yao is worthless, he said don't vote for him or rather he won't vote for him.

Without opening the door to a whole host of D&D questions/responses, if I said if you don't vote for Obama you're disrespecting both Americans and the president himself people would call me an idiot. How is that logic different from your own?...

I agree that it's dumb, but with all due respect know your history. Without Jeff you'd be complaining on some Las Vegas Rockets bbs.

Are we trying to turn the all-star game into one of Yao's charity games? Is that the goal here?

Why do some fans want to turn Yao into the Bristol Palin of NBA 2010/11?

Hopefully he'll return and play well, but right now there are certainly many players whose performance are more deserving of the recognition right now.

Last thing I want is Yao injuring himself in a meaningless all star game.

Yup too bad some people are too dumb to. You would expect YOF to NOT want Yao to play in meaningless games where he gets injured.
