A Unique skill set isnt all that special to me. His thing is he can ball handle and pass for his size. I dont care about that unless he can rebound and due to his height and athleticism, that will be a problem in my opinion.

I'd be happy if he proved you right. Diaw at his best was a really good basketball player. If he can consistently play at Diaw's highest level it will be a great mid first round pick.

He has a lot of work to do and this needs to be repeated.

I am pulling for him but I feel we'll all be let down if we put our trust in him.

I would too. The way this situaion played out combined with his hype coming out of ollege as well as the hype from fans and management pegged him as a potential rodman or poor lebron.

I want him to prove me wrong but right now i see him as a versatile player, who will start out good (less of a rebounder/defender/shooter than diaw) -- this is also based on now off court issues occurring from her on out -- but end up getting fat.

    This is great news!

I am rooting for him to succeed (for my own purely selfish reasons)

He, Josh Innes and Gallant were going at it again earlier on twitter. More tame than last time, though.

Not interested in any more talk from him. Get to work, improve, then I'll care.

    Good news!!
Although I think he is weak ... But criticism doesn't improve his status.
so ...I hope he can overcome his obstacles to show what he can do....
i think White has the ability to be a good player...

i love this article by Travis Heath(Dr. Travis Heath is a psychologist in private practice )
    http://www.hoopsworld.com/royce-white-a-psychologists-perspective/

like what he said,"People have been writing and talking about how White better be careful or his NBA window will close. The problem starts with that very backward assertion. "

I'm happy about this. For all those haters out there just give him a chance and I know that he won't disappoint. I support every Houston Rocket.. even Tony Douglas :)

It may surprise some of you to learn that a team member who is universally lauded for his progress and production right now was punished by the team during summer league for a discipline/work ethics related episode. People do turn their careers around in this business. Sometimes rather rapidly.

I wish him the best too.

But ... do we need someone else who needs the ball in their hands? There is a hilarious Kelvin Sampson quote about Royce from summer league: "Royce, when the ball is in his hands it is happy birthday, Fourth of July and Merry Christmas all rolled into one. Now when the ball is not in his hands, where is he – is he in the witness protection program – I cant even find Royce sometimes when he doesn’t have the ball, so he’s got to learn to play without the ball at a high level."
