I expect alot more f bombs from O'B on Hard Knocks because he's getting his ass handed to him on playcalling.
Man, None of these backup o-lineman are showing ****. Just getting abused by the 49ers. Can't get a push for a run to save a life.
Backup O-Linemen and backup LBs are clearly the weak link (as expected really...). Let's hope XSF is okay and that Brown/Newton stay healthy this year. That could be the breaking point.
He's not a rugby player. Rugby is rugby union. He played rugby league, which is simply known as league.
You could technically say it about any starter on any team but yeah, if any of the OL starters go down, they're in trouble. | Duane Brown | Xavier Su'a-Filo | Ben Jones | Brandon Brooks | Derek Newton | | Bryan Witzmann | Jeff Adams | James Ferentz | Cody White | Matt Feiler | | Kendall Lamm | Chad Slade | Greg Mancz | Joe Treadwell | Aaron Adams | David Quessenberry(NFI) Couldn't name or picture any of those [backup] guys out of a lineup. __________________________________________________________ O'Brien said not to read anything into it but Hoyer(who started), got one series. Mallett the rest of the half. Mallett has done reasonably well, but I'd like to see more than checkdowns and short passes. 10 for 11 is great and all but if you are pulling a Teddy Bridgwater and doing nothing but checkdowns it's not that impressive.
brian hoyer basically pulled a castanza, left reliant after scoring that Td. More impressed with what mallet has done with no Nuke and still being able to keep the clock ticking. unfortunate that we ran three plays in a row in the RZ with porsch, porsch, hilliard.
