    1. Chris Carter improves his walk rate and posts an OPS over .825

    2. Scott Feldman posts the worst ERA of our starters

    3. Dexter Fowler still manages an OPS over .750

    4. Jarred Cosart posts high BB rates and fails to go deep into games

    5. Cosart improves his K rate, and still manages to post a sub-4 ERA and people are shocked.

    6. Jonathan Villar is demoted by June in favor of a currently unknown vet

    7. The Astros trade multiple pitchers for an outfield bat

    8. The Astros win over 65 games

    1. Villar will steal 45 bases and hit 10 long balls.

    2. Chris Carter will hit 35 homers and strike out less than 200 times

    3. Matt Albers will break camp as the closer and hold on to the job while Crain becomes the 8th inning man with Qualls being a lack luster signing.

    4. Brad Peacock will lead the team in wins

    5. Matt Dominguez will hit 25 homers w/ 80 RBI while still failing to post an OPS over .725

    6. Altuve bounces back for with a strong 2014 which is seen less in the numbers outside of OBP, but more with fewer base running mistakes and fewer CS

    7. Dexter Fowler bats below .250 and plays 110 games due to being injured for a good portion of the year

    8. Springer starts the year in OKC and is called up after the Super 2 deadline

    9. Jesus Guzman hits 20+ homers and Singleton spends a majority of the year in OKC

    10. Astros go 68-94 and finish with the 3rd worst record

Another 100 loss season. I don't see any improvement. I just hope they decide to bring their prospects up.

The bullpen, if nothing else, should be very much improved.

Honestly if the Astros can lose under 100 games , between 90-100 ish should be a right sign of progress. Bring up the prospects and get the fans looking towards a brighter future.

    1. Will win 70 games, a 19 game improvement from last year. I'll take it.
    2. Springer will get called up by May 1. He will lead the team in hr's, sb's, and k's,
    3. Fowler will lead off at least 150 games and have an OBP over .380
    4. Altuve will start the season at 2b and hitting 2nd. He will finish the season not on the Astros roster after a sub .300 obp and a BA below .275, rendering him completely useless.
    5. Jon Singleton will win the 1B job out of the spring and hit .250ish, 25 hr, 80 rbi
    6. Matt Dominguez will be the lone All-Star this year.
    7. Crain will win the closer job once healthy and save 30 games
    8. 3 will tie for the wins lead at 12.

    1. Draft Rodon
    2. We hit 70 wins
    3. We have a top 15 line up by the end of the year
    4. No starter has an ERA over 5
    5. Castro: 255/22/75
    6. Carter: 240/28/85
    7. Altuve leads our team in BA, hits .290
    8. Astros collect #7 pick in 2015 draft

Well with everyone talking about it and no promise made by the front office, it's just something I thought was worth throwing out there.

I wonder if he'll set some sort of record for oldest player intentionally stashed due to super-2 status (which for those uninformed, would have him making his debut at some point during JULY, not May).

Luhnow doesn't follow the trends... he sets them!

Springer is a lock. The only thing that could derail his asscension to the show would be a terrible ST. That wont happen.

A lock for what? Opening day roster? I really don't see the point now... if he's the real deal, the extra year of club control is too much to pass up (especially when it takes only 3 more weeks of keeping him down).

The super-2 thing is a bit of a stretch (in terms of really prolonging his "prospect" status), but I wouldn't put it past them.

I just hate the pre-set "schedule" they've made for him as he totally obliterated their expectations of how he'd perform at each level (and thus had to resort to "other" reasons why they were keeping him down... the high K rate, the need to keep him there to get "playoff" experience, the need to keep him off the 40 man roster to protect guys from the rule V draft... etc, etc, etc).

If that is true, I hope he leads the majors in spring HR and makes them look like fools
