Problem with Calderon is that he might be the worst defensive player in the league. We need a backup guard that can defend.

Calderon blows, Dunleavy is too old, but I'd take Justise Winslow in heart beat.

Calderon's 2016-17 contract is $7.7M and is expiring. Bonus! Even better if we could flip Brewer into Cavs' trade exception per Deuce's suggestion.

Yeah i mean, it's ok to have a some below average defenders, but let's not go that far now...seems like we are forced to have only great shooters not able to play even a bit of defense now...we got shooters, maybe it's time to think about defense...at least a bit...

I would absolutely take Calderon and other pieces if picks were coming back

If we are willing to trade for Jose, then why not just bring back Jason Terry. No thanks. Just make Beverley your backup PG.

Calderon is a better passer and a smarter player than Terry but still, we don't need to trade for him. If they are ok with trading the Kings pick (which is top 10 protected i think) good, if not they can keep him/them.

I'll keep that in mind. While Okafor comes home to the Rox. Years after his premature retirement.

Rockets need another legitimate scorer, outside of what they already have. Harden is going to be a starter and Rubio does NOT fit next to Harden (anyone next to Harden has to be able to knock down a jump shot)....That's why I see Gordon starting next to Harden w/ Beverly coming off the bench.

I have said many times before, the Rockets need to go after Rudy Gay. I can't see them going after Bledsoe w/Gordon already in the fold and Rubio can't shoot.

I would offer Brewer, Dekker and a #2 for Gay. This will do two things; give us another legitimate scorer in the starting lineup and strengthen the bench with Beverly, Ariza, KJ, Nene, D-Mo and Beasley.

    Capela/Nene/Onuaku
    Anderson/Beasley/D-Mo/Harrell
    Gay/Ariza
    Harden/KJ
    Gordon/Beverly/Payton II

I don't want anything to do with Rudy Gay, and neither will Morey. The guy is a volume scorer who doesn't hit 3-pointers at a high clip, doesn't create for others and doesn't defend particularly well. He'd be a bad fit in D'Antoni's system, and I don't even see it as a significant upgrade over Ariza.

Trade them Dekker, McDaneisl, Cash Considerations and 1st round pick for Taj Gibson.

Gibson would be better than dmo by miles.

Cavs should straight up take on calderons contract and some pick.
They need a backup pg much more than a wing.
