Now that we have a QB, predict what the Texans do with their 2nd round pick.

I say if you gonna gamble big on a QB with Watson, then you double down and get him the protection he needs by trading for Robinson in the top of the 2nd.

Robinson should be the pick, but doubt he will be there. Last year it seemed the protection was a big part of the problem on offense and if we plan on going with a rookie QB, we need to give him every opportunity to succeed.

Another interesting possibility would be Armanti Foreman, RB from Texas. He provides an important skill set on offense I'm not sure we have.

I guess the question is why has Robinson dropped so much?

Next, we've sucked picking in the middle rounds. I'd be down to trade up for Robinson to give Watson some protection.

If they do, Rick Smith might get piece of the Texan's ownership. I've always thought they were going to wait till the later rounds to get their OL and then maybe Kittle (the TE from Iowa) who is pretty much an OL who happens to be able to run and catch.

Too early for D'onta Foreman. Kamara and Cook are still on the board though.

    Want...Cam Rob

More than likely...one of those safeties listed above.

Dion Dawkins would be my pick if he's around. He could start at RT and potentially move to LT in a few years when Brown is done.

Because he's seen as a RT prospect instead of a LT prospect which makes him a lot less valuable. Fortunately for the Texans the need a RT

Projected as a guard not a tackle.

    Ah, I see.

Did some scouts have issues with his footwork?

Yeah, something like that. The knock on him was that they thought he'd struggle against highly athletic edge rushers meaning that he really shouldn't be the blindside blocker at least at first. Obviously he can improve that footwork but they also question some of his instincts and those are trickier. He still grades out as an amazing RT, but RT's aren't worth anything compared to a top notch LT and if you draft a tackle in the first, that's what you need them to be.

Taylor Moton is a plug and play RT. They'd be ecstatic if he fell.

Fell? He is a projected 3rd rounder.

I might too. But I still think Kamara goes before Foreman.

Since the Texans are making bold moves already, anybody think they're ballsy enough to take Mixon?
