    I actually said the Rockets will have to work harder defensively and will be 5 points less in points allowed

    why can't you trolls and haters unite behind our 2 superstars like all us true rockets fans do?

    Harden WAS hurting the defense the last 5/6 games before he went out . But this is because he was playing banged up .

    You guys already forgot how good James looked defensively early in the season .

    If Mike can help himself from rushing James back ; this might actually be a blessing in disguise.

    yep if his teammates contributed offensively and defensively to his 50+ pts vs the lakers and clips like how they contributed to this last 2 games we should have won both those games

    Yeah those two LA games were vintage last season games. Harden carries heavy load on offense , is already banged up to begin with, and can't close down the stretch .

    Harden WITH Chris this year is completely different . If both of those guys are 100 percent healthy it's even crazier . If other guys on our roster have some spring ( Ariza and Clint ) we are a nightmare .

    The hard part is getting to that finish line with our guys in sync and with some good juice .... Also trying to navigate seeding . Frankly I'm cool if we are top 4 . Obviously id prefer 3 ( so we don't face GS the first round ) but above everything else I want to face them with our squad as healthy and fresh as possible .

    We're replacing Harden's minutes with Gerald Green (horrible defender) and more Eric Gordon (passable, but not great). Expecting the defense to turnaround was probably overly optimistic.

    But I thought Harden was the worst defender in the NBA, and that replacing him with even average defenders would result in our team being lots better!

    Switch Harden and Curry or Kawhi and the teams does not get any worse or better.

    People here act like the rockets are made up of DPOY's or the coach is Pops and Harden's holding them back from their full defensive potential.

    The defense maybe get sh!ttier because the other team doesn't have to work on defense as much
    and can just focus on defense

    They still would've killed us offensively but Harden would've ISO'd 20 times this game on Boban and scored.
