I see this is a thig that may happen. If you ask me, it will be on CP3´s health. If the guy can go all in, I think he runs SSOL offense, with Capela being Amare, CP3 as Nash and everyone else being Raja+Diaw+Matrix.

If we are too injured I think Cp3 can go for the 90´s vintage control posesion´s game

"Harden plays great defense! He has the same number of deflections as LeBron and Kawhi! Our defense will get WORSE without Harden playing!!"

hey mavsprick must be like an extended xmas for harden haters like you since he's injured

I already said Rockets will give up between 0 to 5 fewer points at an average

    what do you think?

    I know I'm just saying that's realistic

if we somehow allow 10 fewer points then that's great that means we're the best defense in the league better than spurs and boston and having harden makes the whole team complacent

I hope this time off allows James to see the team in a different perspective. He definitely needs to mature more as a player.

yeah unless one thinks harden has a -5 to -10 defensive bpm this year.

Bu reality is RA and Ego actually has lot worse defensive bpm's than harden so far this year.

Is this improvement based off our entire season's defensive average in opponents ppg? Is it based on the last 5 games? It'll improve I'm confident of that, but if you compare the point differential from the total average of the season, it'll probably be 5-10 points. I'd guess 20 point improvement from the last 5 games.

It's not all Harden being a crappy defender, it's also the fact that players have to do a lot more without him on the court to win, defense is where they will have to focus because they can't score like James.

Better questions are what would be our point differential and how many MPG CP3 will average during the injury.

It won’t be much better since he’s replaced by Gordon or Green depending on how you look at it.

Not hating. Harden is a beast but I don't think I've ever seen a player ball watch on D as much as he does. It's crazy.

Cleaning the glass keeps track of raw on/off less garbage time for offense and defense.

So far the defense is 8 points worse when Harden plays.

This is not adjusting for opponent ( most of his minutes come against starters)

Who knows. But I do know that if we really want to make some noise come playoff time he has to do better.

yeah and if the rockets still give up the same amount of points then the whole team has defensive problems and need to do better
