I agree with this. And Dobbins has been solid when asked to play. Not sure I'm comfortable with Dobbins and James in there at the same time. Out of all three rushers, Reed seems to have the most knack at stopping runs
Is Tim Dobbins not good enough to get the job done as a starter? It's painfully obvious that we need to add depth, but since Dobbins is the guy who has the most experience in this system, wouldn't he be the likely choice to take over? Also, is Bradie James now going to get the headset in his helmet? And is Sharpton on track to return after next week, because I really liked what I saw out of him when he was actually healthy.
I'm hoping he comes back as well. He looked good in all 10 plays. Kidding! Seriously, Sharpton looked like he was going to be the starter before getting hurt again
I heard Sharpton is about 2 weeks away. What about Braman ? How about bringing Shawn Loiseau back in ?
He can start practicing next week. Dobbins is good but older and not as athletic as Cushing, which may hurt us against RBs and TEs. However I think in goal line packages he is stout, we need to get someone in help at that position if Sharpton can't be ready after week 9 to at least get some playing time. Don't think we should move ANY of our starting or top OLB but having Brahman or Nading take some snaps at ILB wouldn't be a bad idea at this point.
God...hate seeing these gifs...That POS was no where near the play...hope he gets whats coming to him...
About the only thing Dobbins can do better is putting a more powerful hit on a runner. Speed, quickness, lateral movement is what we lost... I almost want to see Nolan or Quin play up to make up for the quickness. Quin in particular can hit...
