I have us trading out of the first with Minnesota for their 2nd and fourth. They'll probably snag Rueben Randle and this is what I see us doing.....

    #89(3) Juron Criner WR/ Arizona 6'3" 224
    alt Joe Adams WR/KR Arkansas 5'11" 180
    #98(4) Bruce Irvin OLB/ WVU 6'3" 250
    #121(4)Josh Chapman DT/ Alabama 6'1" 318
    #153(5)Josh Robinson CB/ C. Florida 5'10" 199
    alt Ron Brooks CB/ LSU 5'10" 190
    #184(6)Derek Wolfe DE/ Cincinatti 6'5" 295

I really like the idea of drafting multiple WR in the mid rounds. I would like the Texans to target your guy Criner or Nick Toon in the second round. I would really like to see the Texans draft either Ryan Broyles or Joe Adams in the 3rd or 4th rounds. Both guys are excellent slot receivers and punt returners that could really boost the talent level.

I also love the fact that you have us taking Josh Chapman. The kid is amazing and fits everything about our defense. He is coming off an ACL tear but I think he is definitely worth a 4th round pick.

I have purposely avoided the first round. I have no idea what the Texans will do but it will likely be OL if the cant sign Meyers and/or Breisel or it will be at the OLB position if they cant retain Mario.

I like the idea of trading a first for an early second and a fourth

    (2) Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
    (2) Kevin Zeitier, G, Wisconsin
    (3) Josh Chapman, DT, Alabama
    (4) BPA WR
    (4) Aaron Henry, S, Wisconsin
    (5) Sammy Brown, OLB, Houston
    (6) Matt Reynolds, OT, BYU
    (7) Randy Bullock, K, Texas A&M

I suppose if we could resign Mario to a reasonable deal we could deal him for a late first and a third.

Quick question though. Didn't we lose our 7th rounder in the Mason trade?

also, if Osweiler is available(unlikely) in the fourth, I'd be hella curious to gauge the Texans interest.

I hope you bastards draft a kicker or something... But, I think you draft WR Kendall Wright or WR Reuben Randle, or a TE...

No. The trade was for a conditional 7th rounder. The condition was Mason had to have something like 30 catches with the team. Since he got nowhere near that, the Texans keep their 7th round pick.
