While I understand this , its not the NFL . I dont know how much scouting really plays into early regular season games. Also Dmo will be on limited minutes , probably less than 20, I'm not sure how big of an impact we can realistically expect the first game back. I kind of think they are saying its a surprise just to mess around and have some fun.

 

Personal attacks aside you continue to be wrong. The whole blame Harden because he's selfish thing isn't working because it's just not true.

 

I totally agree especially in the 4th or when the team is cold and Harden is hot.

 

Come on heypartner you know some of it's on Harden. JBB is pulling an O'Brien and Kubiak now with this, it's all on me. I know I've seen plenty of games in which completely went away from the coaches play to run ISO. And I know the coaches are not telling him to take it easy on defense either. Again come on man I know you know better than this. hahahahaha

I read that and agree to a certain extent. Reason being, in the 1st quarter I've seen great ball movement and everybody's engaged. But then the Harden ISO/postup or whatever you want call it starts in the 2nd and sometimes in the 3rd. I really don't think Coaching is calling for those type plays after having great success with ball and player movement. Now the coaches are calling for ISO at the end of quarters or when we trying to kill as much clock as possible.

 

Heard Morey on 790 yesterday. They asked him why Rockets are shooting so many 3s if they suck at shooting them. Morey said that it's hard to find good 3pt shooters in the league but avoids the question about Moreyball.

Honestly, I don't see Harden staying here if he doesn't find a better supporting cast for his offensive system. Les might even fire Morey before Harden leaves.

 

Thought JB was the defensive specialist. D looks just as bad as when McHale was running show this season. JB not the answer, don't care how great he interviews.

 

Harden is staying but the analytic geek is getting canned

 

If it's that hard to find three point shooters it would probably be a good idea to hold off on the Moreyball until he does find them. In the meantime our system should be geared toward the players we have not the players we someday hope to get. Also if it's that hard why does he let above average three point shooters go for nearly nothing. Morey's great at trades and the draft but hiring Mchale and Moreyball hurt the good things he has done.

 

Should have kept Canaan and Convignton.

 

It's really not that hard to find 3-point shooters. What's tough is to find consistent shooters that can do anything else.

 

DMO'S interview was interesting. I think he might play tonight. He kept say surprise like he knows he's ready to go. That would be awesome

 

Yeah, I think he gets burn today too. Why else would coach and DmO be saying surprise? Why not just give us a straightforward answer...

 

Good lord the harden excuses lol. Even as a diehard rockets/beard fan it's annoying. I can only imagine how the team feels about it

 

Aww, I was hoping "I made it harder on James" meant that when he took over, J.B. told Harden to work harder on his defense and offensive tactics or else. Instead this an apology for making him work too hard. Yeah, Harden carries the team, and the others should step up, but Harden is hardly trying to maximize the potential he has, either.
