Maybe... but I doubt it. History shows that after Olympics/World Championships/...any tourney where NBA players are asked to play year round...the following year the participants are often injured and have less productive seasons because of injury...either major or nagging. Do your homework and check it out...it is startling
The Olympic will only affect ONE NBA player and that is Yao Ming. Because Yao has to play 40minutes every game to carry his sorry a$$ team in order for them to have a chance for victory!
hey guys, there is difference among nationnal team players... numbers don't tell you the whole story. YAO & Scola are definetly starters and will play heavy minutes, and Scola might be playing a lot of games as Arg is goint deep(probably?)
Yao Ming will be affected the most. Having not played a game for half a year, he comes back having to play 40min a game with double and triple teams for his team to even have a chance of moving into the final 8.
