22 Turnovers, shoot 37% and still wins by 10+ points. Defense does win, but we played the Bobcats who are going to be bottom feeders this season, so the score may not be indicative of how good the Rockets are on defense. I hate to say this, but if we are getting DHoward, or any top studs, we will have to part with Parsons. Morey FTW for picking a guy I never heard of and have skills of a lottery pick player. Chandler has cat-like quickness and possess an attitude of liking to play D which most teams covet. We better not get Gasol type players in return for Chandler and friends.
The lockout has given this season a rushed season feel. I would almost they rather just trim the number of games down...rather than push through the season with mostly back-to-backs on the schedule. Everything is how the other team played last nite and were tired tonite. It creates for a lot of crappy basketball games and coaches after the game "oh...we just didn't have it tonite. we were tired having played last night and having to catch a flight back.". It's like teams aren't even winning because they are playing good basketball. It's more about which team was less tired and who had enough energy in the tank to win it. Rockets will get victories just from playing teams on their second of back-to-back who lose because they are flat out tired. It's fools gold. Yea, I get that it works out the same way for all teams. It just makes for some disgusting basketball.
I'm a liking Parson game - high energy, lots of potential both defensively and offensively. Hoping for the best with this kid.
Yeah, they should have gone ahead and trimmed 8-10 more games off of the schedule. Still would have been plenty of games for a "complete" feel to the season.

Funny. BOBCATS COACH PAUL SILAS (On the team’s play tonight) “We were tired and it was just one of those nights. Even layups, we had shots at the hoop and couldn’t convert, and I can’t fault them. They played as well as they could play. They just didn’t have it. They (the Rockets) were sitting here waiting for us to come in. It was a tough game last night and to come in tonight and have to play is rough.”
I haven't read the posts, so this is probably old news, but I thought it was hilarious that when Coach Silas was interviewed after the game he said, "We just didn't have it tonight."
