A great win, Yao did what he is demanded of. The 2nd one won't be easy as this one, but if they keep following the gameplan, they will get out of the 1st round this year, even further.

 

i think the biggest reason we won and won big was AD ajustments.

He is now tighten up and actually draw plansand play for the team. within 4.0 sec in the second quarter, AD called a timeout and drawup a plan. that never happened before.

team has answer for opponent fronting yao. the whole second quarter we saw portland fronting Yao, but we had AB answered. soon fronting stop.

Deke is in the house, this is a change i wonder why AD hasn't use it until now. maybe saving up for the playoffs

AD is given Yao better and timely breaks. artest is under control.

I can't go to sleep thinking about this game. Perfect execution of a first game on a young team. If we can beat them on game 2 we'll crush their morale. That could be crippling for the Blazers.
