20ppg is not bad for a bench sub, but yeah I agree with the rest. He is NOT a scorer and his fundamentals are sub par. He should be a defensive specialist but he gambles too much on the defensive end.

trever ariza is not even capable of scoring 20 points in a game, when was the last time he ever had 20+ points this season december 2009?

If they're still feeling the effects of their illness/injury then they shouldn't be playing.

I'm still wondering why Hilton Armstrong isnt getting much playing time...Jeffries cant be that much better than him.

... Sorry, and in this connection, I have the theory that the PG of the team sets the initial tendency of your offensive and defensive game, because he's the first one to start to defend / and with him you start your offensive game. Thus, if your PG does not put a lot of defensive pressure, your whole team will tend to defend less; and if your PG doesn't run sets and does not distribute the ball, the rest of the team will also tend to play haphazardly.

This is why Rafer Alston was so important for our team despite his bricks...

actually jeffries is 10 times better than armstrong, the guy cnnot even dribble, nor can he pass, jeffries can at least stay out of foul trouble

LOL @ RocketGirl bringing her emotions into this. Ariza is a ball stopper on offense and needs to accept his role as an "intangibles" guy who can spot up. His offseason should be spent watching game tapes of Bruce Bowen and Tayshaun Prince, no one else.

Lowry should not get a contract anywhere near the MLE. 4 years, $10-12 million is good enough for him. Scola should get around $8-9/year. The Rockets can't keep paying the underdogs and overachievers good money, because they'll be exposed in the playoffs. This is the NBA.

I'm giving Martin the benefit of the doubt for this year, but at the moment he comes off lacking in the traits that made Rip Hamilton such a dangerous offensive option. He needs to learn how to play in a winning manner with more deliberate off ball movements and quit being a lazy hispanic on defense. Atleast be pesky like Sasha.

Jeffries' defense destroys anything Hilton has to offer.

I get Trevor hasn't been great this season, we're without Yao, I think next season will be a better test to see what type of player he is. He's coming from a team that he was the 4th or 5th option, now he's 3rd or 4th. What are expecting out of him anyway?

I'm just irrated seeing all this complaining about players, if ya'll think ya'll could play better or make the team better, then why aren't ya'll a Rocket or the GM, or better yet coach the team and see how you do.

we expect him to be a good 35% or better 3 point shooter, make WIDE OPEN shots, and play good defense, contest shots, do not always go for steal; and learn HOW TO DRIBBLE!!!

I appreciate good defense more than good offense. I'd rather lose in a low scoring game than to lose giving up 130+ points

Well Morey has a lot more patience then most of us so I doubt Ariza will get moved but I also have to admit sometimes it can be VERY hard to defend the guy and I am pro Trev.

So basically, if you're a Pacer and you played at least 20 minutes, you score in double figures.
