26Pts on 43% for Kobe is not the Kobe we know? Lakers 6-4 in the last 10 games losing to Indian, Utah, Denver and Phoenix. After their heavy Home games schedule at the beginning. they are not looking as the clear best team in the west.

SA, Dallas and Utah have been playing a lot better lately.

    Look at their schedule

Other than Utah they been playing a bunch of decent to bad teams. I don't see them with a clear path to the 1 seed like two years.

Why do the Lakers always get the best schedule? I hate that. Rockets always get the worst schedule.

Its simple the league want's the Lakers to have a good start is good for the league. Schedule will even out but having a good start is always good.

So you throw out the fact that Yao had not played with these guys in over a year? Had never played with Martin, hill, Lee, and Budinger? Hill needing more time to learn the system and Lee just learning it? Having to deal with Lowry and bud being out early with injuries and Yao's playing limits? You want them to have all that solved and perfected by the first 5 games of the season? Even the trio in miami couldn't figure it out that quickly. It doesn't make any sense.

Not sure if he's done, but he did just have the injury. I'm guessing he should still be able to come back for at least half a season. Camby does seem like a nice comparison, but he seems to move better on offense.

That is 69% winning percentage from now and the rest of the season. In 82 games that is 57 wins, which was actually the best case scenario we predicted for the Rockets this season. Our chances are not looking good right now.

Look on the bright side: at least we'll get a high lottery pick that the wizards in the Rockets front office can promptly turn around and swap for Matt Barnes to "win now while Yao's window is open."

    pretty tough back to back.
the mavericks have rocket killers on their bench and we really need brooks/yao back.

we'll never be successful with hayes, battier and lowry in the lineup together, nor will we be successful with a martin/brooks backcourt. we may put up points, but once the fourth quarter rolls around martin usually does his houdini act and our defense gets burned play after play.

not to knock just one player here, but it seems like martin's entire presence on the court is negated by allowing just as many, if not more, points as he scores. brooks is almost the same but at least brooks can create his own shot late in games and has proven to be clutch.

i knew the rockets would put up a poor showing tonight, back to back game. This is not good if we can count every back to back game as a loss becasue this team is tired. Well, especially against the mavs, they are so deep and talented, I don't know they don't end up in the WCF every year, they are just straight up better than the rockets. Alot of teams are which is sad, pains me to say but the rockets are in rebuilding mode, even when Yao and brooks get back, it will take time for chemistry. This season is over.
