so far clippers have given bloated contracts to all their players. good chance they'll give pietrus a large deal too. even then their salary situation would be comparable to rockets.

no way gs trade both dunleavy and pietrus.

maggette is injury prone. is wilcox an upgrade over swift? short answer, no.

Maybe I'm just depressed about the Rockets, but I don't see one trade above that would benefit the Rockets and doesn't involve robbing another team, which though nice is not probable. . I have mentioned players for NJ's picks above, but maybe they, too, want to think beyond this year or next.

Start tanking for the draft, , keep rotating the development league players through to try to discover more talent-- another Baxter or Hayes; or horror of horrors, actually go over cap for a year or two to get talent, though they might not be top 10,. which cheap ol Les now claims he would do. It would suck to be in the same position next year as now and in the past few years with no talent to trade with.

We need a third scorer who JVG can't suppress. How can a team win if it loses 80% of its games if one its two top players is out. If JVG is such a good defensive coach, why can he semmingly only play defense with guys noted already for good defense?
