His contract ends this year right? Is he restricted? Would the Kings spend alot to retain him? Could the Rockets pry him in a S&T? Please answer the questions. Thanks
I agree lol. Depending on how he does as a starter there, he could have a bright future in Sacremento  Him and Tyreke pick n roll should be difficult to stop.
Yeah I guess I should have finished my thought... "but then I thought... nah... not likely... that ship has sailed"
Moving forward, and with our new team make-up the current Landry is not the type of player the Rockets need. So, even if they could, I doubt management would. Landry's strengths are: efficient low post scoring, good free throw shooter, and toughness. With Yao, we are BETTER at efficiency, low post scoring, and free throws. Landry's toughness and bench production can be replaced much cheaper. Landry is one of my favorite players, but I'm sorry to say that we will not see him as a Rocket unless Morey's team building plans change. Even if we had the money to sign him, we would definitely rather go for a long and athletic defensive big that can block shots and grab rebounds because that is what the team needs. /end thread.
