There are rampant rumors at my girlfriends job that Electra Records and the Time Warner Records has learned that Whitney Houston has died of a drug overdose.

I can't verify this yet nor can she. But if anyone hears this also, please post. My girlfriend is trying and calling all over and no one can verify this. Has anyone else heard about this? This could only be a rumor.

I heard that too.. My coworker's sister called because she heard it on the radio, but I haven't been able to find any confirmation.

Whitney is safe at home in New Jersey with her family. It is some vicious rumor that got started some how. A local radio station here in Houston got confirmation from one of their affiliate stations in NY or NJ.
