We should probably play Wells a little bit to get his stock higher.

Damien Pierce(roxs staff writer) says Wells is coming back, so you guys are just silly here with the trade talks  :p

Is Wells coming back to the Rockets?
Yes, I just don't know when. Really. Not even my wife knows.

Van Gundy said he'll put Bonzi Wells back on the floor when the swingman is in shape and I imagine that sooner or later, everyone is going to have to begin believing the coach. I'm guessing Wells isn't that far away from returning since he has been working out for about a month, but I'm only guessing.

I'd tell you the date he's coming back if I knew it.

Can someone plz tell me why Bonzi is not playing? I don't care if he is problematic. The guy got game. Especially when Snyder is out and Mcgrady is vulnerable nowadays, Rockets need him more than ever.

JVG would play him if Rockets downed to only five players.

He must know something Dennis Lindsey doesn't, becaue Lindsey made it clear he didn't know if the Wells situation would work out. Which probably means it's not going to work out.

IF he can raise his trade value by getting minutes, I think he plays. If he only lowers his value even more, then he remains on the bench. Only practice gives a clue. But I really don't think he'll be on the roster by the trade deadline.

Personally I'd like us to pick up Allen (though I know we don't have enough trade bait for him that they'd want), Lewis or Rignour.

Yeah, but generally only when the GM is Isiah Thomas.

honestly, I am not expecting a trade involve with wellls at this point. However, I do think CD is cooking up something with the like of howard or sura.

Sura's expiring contract is the most attractive one and i am seeing his retirement soon after he get traded.

Howard, I believed we been trying to get rid of his contract for the best couple of years. I doubt there will be any taker on his contract.

Wells, well, he's not playing right now and he sure will jump boat after this season to which ever team will sign him. If any team out there willing to play him and not as boneheaded like JVG. than wells will have value. question is which is that team? Heat? knicks?

Heat - i think the current way the heat are playing without shaq and everyone seems to be still living in the championship season. Pat riley will need someone to come in and provide that spark and start a fire. wells is cheap and worth the try.

Knicks - I assume thomas is still trying to retain his job with the knicks, and they are playing with no hearts right now. Wells will his future in question and Thomas willing to play him and wells being in the NY could possibily be a ticket out for him.

If we trade Wells and he goes somewhere and performs, it will make JVG look like the biggest A-hole on the planet.

I don't think JVG would want that, so my guess is he rides pine until he is in shape, or just sits there rotting all year.

Tell you what. You write Les a letter and convince him that if you were the GM, you could work out the Bonzi for Deng trade. If you convince him, he will fire CD and Morey on the spot and give you a lifetime contract, because you are a diety.

Somebody call Budweiser and tell them to salute jdmg82.
