It's nice to see a thread like this instead of reading all the doom and gloom thread titles.

 

This team could easily have won game #1 if they value the ball possession. They're playing a dangerous brand of basket where they just pull up and shoot whenever they're open and I think experts will tell you that that is not an efficient brand of basket. If you watch the Spurs team for example, they don't shoot 3 even when they're open in the early shot clock. The reason is that they want to see if they can get an easy 2 by executing...and if everything failed...that's when they shoot 3. The 3 is also there...but team don't shoot it until the end or if they're extremely wide open or if someone got hot. But this Rockets team shoot it early in the shot clock....shoot it when nobody is under the basket for a possible offensive rebound...that's not efficient ball. Now, i am not saying they do this all the time...but they done enough in game #1 to hurt the team i think.

I like your positive attitude, however I do not think our chances of winning this series are as good as Portland's at this point.

We are down 2 games. We are headed into the belly of the beast for 2 games. Our confidence is at an all time low. Their's is sky high. LaMarcus is beasting and no one has been able to stop him. We will Win only if Harden takes us there and back again. Harden has to bring us back home with at least 1, preferably 2 victories. Harden can change this game. I believe in him, but it will not be an easy road to travel.
