    Draftexpress is like the Wikipedia for scouting reports...

    I get the feeling Westbroook has it in him to challenge Alston for the starting position in his rookie season.

    I wouldn't be unhappy if the Rockets cashed in Head+Brooks+Landry if it meant getting Westbrook.

    Westbrook = Monta Ellis

    Morey has to have a deal set up if this guy slips. Battier, Head, Brooks, the 25th pick, Future First rounders, Draft rights to foreign players........... whatever it takes. Get it done.

    There is a very high chance Portland will deal their 1st round pick this year. At 13th pick overall you aren't likely to get somebody who will contribute much straight away, and since they are bringing over Rudy Fernandez and Greg Oden will come back from injury, they don't have a desperate need so rather than having your 13th pick playing backup minutes I'm sure they'd want to trade it to get better value and make better use of it.

    Their manager Kevin Pritchard said:"We're looking for a veteran who is already a "know-how" with experience rather than "youth". Translation: We're trading the pick.

    I guess we could trade one of our verterans such as Chuck Hayes or possibly Rafer to them for their pick. 13th overall pick shouldn't be that expensive to get in my opinion
