Very interesting. With them looking to trade Jamal Crawford/Raymond Felton as well somewhere else...I would imagine marshon brooks and jordan farmar have to be a part of the deal?

don't really understand our interest in Wallace...would moving Parsons to the bench really improve this team? He has been playing lights out

Nets are close to sending Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams and a protected 1st round pick to Portland for Gerald Wallace, league sources tell Y!

To be fair -- and I'm guessing it's our pick the Blazers get -- this year's draft class is deep and Gerald Wallace is likely to opt out this summer.
    Still that's a great deal.

What's funny is that the Nets essentially have now traded T-Will, Okur's expiring and a bad contract in Williams for Gerald Wallace.

Guess whose protected first round pick it is?

    Thanks, Terrence Williams.

if deron and wallace don't click... the rockets have a ready to contend, just add superstar roster for a 28yo who's feeling his biological clock ticking in free agency.

If the Blazers get our pick, then that's even more incentive for them to tank. Not only do they improve their draft position, they get an extra 1st round pick from us.

Wallace really isn't that good. He's an effort player, which means in this season in particular he tires out quickly. It's not like he's that skilled anyways.

It'd be nice to get him, but I'm not concerned, especially with how Parsons is playing these days.
